About

Hi, I’m Jen — founder of Jen’s Happy Pets.
Before building this company, I worked as a veterinary technician in an animal hospital and in animal shelters. Those experiences shaped not only my standards, but the heart behind this business.
In the veterinary setting, I saw how deeply a dog’s physical health is connected to consistent exercise, structure, and routine. Regular movement supports healthy weight, joint function, balanced energy levels, and overall longevity. Just as importantly, it plays a critical role in a dog’s emotional stability and behavior.
In shelters, I witnessed another reality.
Many loving families surrendered wonderful dogs — not from lack of love, but from lack of support. Long work hours. Long commutes. Busy seasons of life. High-energy dogs without enough outlets.
When a dog’s physical and mental needs aren’t consistently met, it often shows up as anxiety, restlessness, destructiveness, or reactivity. And sometimes, those challenges lead to decisions that could have been prevented with the right structure in place.
That perspective is the foundation of Jen’s Happy Pets.
This isn’t simply about providing walks.
It’s about supporting pets so they can live healthier, calmer, longer lives — and supporting owners so they can confidently keep the companions they love.
Today, my role is to ensure that this level of care is delivered consistently and professionally. While I’m not the one completing every visit, I personally oversee team selection, training, scheduling, safety protocols, communication standards, and quality control.
We approach pet care intentionally. We pay attention to behavior changes. We value routine. We understand how balanced energy supports overall well-being.
For busy professionals and families, life is full. You shouldn’t have to choose between your responsibilities and your pet’s quality of life.
We provide the structure, reliability, and compassionate oversight that allow both to thrive.
